| 3:7だから、植える者も水をそそぐ者も、ともに取るに足りない。大事なのは、成長させて下さる神のみである。 | 3:7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. | |
| 3:8植える者と水をそそぐ者とは一つであって、それぞれその働きに応じて報酬を得るであろう。 | 3:8 Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. | |
| 3:9わたしたちは神の同労者である。あなたがたは神の畑であり、神の建物である。 | 3:9 For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's farming, God's building. | |
| 3:10神から賜わった恵みによって、わたしは熟練した建築師のように、土台をすえた。そして他の人がその上に家を建てるのである。しかし、どういうふうに建てるか、それぞれ気をつけるがよい。 | 3:10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it. | |

Then each man will get his praise from God. | |

| 4:8あなたがたは、すでに満腹しているのだ。すでに富み栄えているのだ。わたしたちを差しおいて、王になっているのだ。ああ、王になっていてくれたらと思う。そうであったなら、わたしたちも、あなたがたと共に王になれたであろう。 | 4:8 You are already filled. You have already become rich. You have come to reign without us. Yes, and I wish that you did reign, that we also might reign with you. | |

| 4:18しかしある人々は、わたしがあなたがたの所に来ることはあるまいとみて、高ぶっているということである。 | 4:18 Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you. | |
| 4:19しかし主のみこころであれば、わたしはすぐにでもあなたがたの所に行って、高ぶっている者たちの言葉ではなく、その力を見せてもらおう。 | 4:19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing. And I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. | |

| 10:19すると、なんと言ったらよいか。偶像にささげる供え物は、何か意味があるのか。また、偶像は何かほんとうにあるものか。 | 10:19 What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? | |

| 11:15女に長い髪があれば彼女の光栄になるのである。長い髪はおおいの代りに女に与えられているものだからである。 | 11:15 But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given to her for a covering. | |
| 11:16しかし、だれかがそれに反対の意見を持っていても、そんな風習はわたしたちにはなく、神の諸教会にもない。 | 11:16 But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God's assemblies. | |
| 11:17ところで、次のことを命じるについては、あなたがたをほめるわけにはいかない。というのは、あなたがたの集まりが利益にならないで、かえって損失になっているからである。 | 11:17 But in giving you this command, I don't praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse. | |

| 11:33それだから、兄弟たちよ。食事のために集まる時には、互に待ち合わせなさい。 | 11:33 Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. | |
| 11:34もし空腹であったら、さばきを受けに集まることにならないため、家で食べるがよい。そのほかの事は、わたしが行った時に、定めることにしよう。 | 11:34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come. | |

| 12:7各自が御霊の現れを賜わっているのは、全体の益になるためである。 | 12:7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all. | |
| 12:8すなわち、ある人には御霊によって知恵の言葉が与えられ、ほかの人には、同じ御霊によって知識の言、 | 12:8 For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; | |
| 12:9またほかの人には、同じ御霊によって信仰、またほかの人には、一つの御霊によっていやしの賜物、 | 12:9 to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit; | |
| 12:10またほかの人には力あるわざ、またほかの人には預言、またほかの人には霊を見わける力、またほかの人には種々の異言、またほかの人には異言を解く力が、与えられている。 | 12:10 and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. | |
